Chris is an Associate in the Banking and Finance team. He has considerable experience in advising on a broad range of financing matters, for lenders and sponsors, and as both lead counsel and local counsel.
Chris specialises in cross-border real estate and leveraged finance transactions, with a focus on the hotel and leisure, build-to-rent, purpose-built student accommodation, and retail sectors. He also advises on mainstream lending transactions for general commercial use, and has a particular interest in acquisition finance and asset-based lending.

- Advising on financing for Enva Group and associated acquisitions.
- Advising on financing for a UK hotel group in connection with its acquisition, development and operation of a number of UK hotels.
- Acting for the lender group in connection with the financing of a number of acquisitions by a UK nursery group.
- Acting for the noteholders in connection with the warehousing of auto loan receivables.
- Acting for the lender group in connection with the provision of facilities to a UK holiday park operator.
