We advise on projects involving onshore wind, battery storage, solar, hydro, hydrogen and other technologies – including co-location projects that use more than one on the same site. Our team includes over 110 people, who between them have a very wide range of legal expertise.

This exceptional depth and breadth of practical experience means that we can advise our clients on every aspect of their project, from inception through consenting, planning, property, grid, financial close and into the construction and operational phases, as well as ultimately into mergers & acquisitions and repowering. And because we also have a genuine understanding of their commercial goals, we’re able to provide strategic and innovative solutions that meet our clients’ long-term objectives.

We are also at the heart of conversations about policy and how best to unlock the UK’s potential in this sector. Our co-head of onshore renewables, John Morrison, currently serves as the company secretary of Scottish Renewables, and other members of our team have also held board positions there and in other key industry bodies such as Renewables UK and Prosper.
