Ewan MacLeod

Ewan is accredited as a specialist in planning law by the Law Society of Scotland and is a member of its Planning Law Committee.

He has extensive public hearing and inquiry experience, with particular expertise in housing, retail and waste issues.

Top ranked by leading directories, Ewan advises clients on development plans and significant planning applications, including financial obligations, appeals, court challenges, compulsory purchase and roads. 

He also advises on a range of environmental matters such as regulated processes, nuisance and contaminated land.

  • Academy Music Group in related to a called in Application for noise sensitive development immediately adjacent to the Edinburgh O2 Academy music venue;
  • Swan Group on its proposals for significant mixed-use development at Corton, South East Ayr.
