Olivia Greener

Olivia is a Solicitor in our Employment team. She advises small, medium, and large employers throughout the UK on the full range of employment law and HR issues.

These include corporate acquisitions/disposals, TUPE transfers, employment tribunal cases, and general advisory matters like performance and absence management, discipline and grievance, discrimination, family leave and pay, and redundancy. She is also experienced in drafting and negotiating settlement agreements, and providing guidance on the employment aspects of M&A transactions.

  • Part of the core team advising Universities and Higher Education establishments. Including supporting at a 5-week final hearing, robustly defending a Scottish Higher Education establishment against claims of sex discrimination and unfair dismissal from ex-senior employees. 
  • Advising clients on Tribunal proceedings, working with and supporting witnesses, and successfully representing employer clients at the Employment Tribunal.
  • Assisting in advising and supporting a University on a delicate HR and employment law matter to defend a claim for declaration of permanency under FTC Regulations and potential claims of disability discrimination.
  • Helping clients in offshore energy sector with a range of complex matters.
