Nikki is a Solicitor in our Media and Technology team, dividing her time between our London, Dublin and Edinburgh offices.

She has experience working with clients across all sectors, including intellectual property, branding and media, sport, and food and drink, and helps to deliver simple, workable solutions in complex and changing areas of law. She is a member of the International Wine Law Association.

  • Advising Kelso Pharma on the management and expansion of their group trade mark portfolio and domain names.
  • Advising a range of clients in a number of sectors on the implementation, commercialisation, and exploitation of intellectual property on an international basis, relating to management of trade marks portfolios, branding, domain names; re-branding strategies; and contentious trade mark opposition proceedings in the United Kingdom and European Union and working closely with agents in overseas opposition proceedings.
  • Advising clients on freedom of information and environmental information requests in Scotland, including advice on exemptions.
  • Supporting a national trade body on regulatory, competition, and contentious planning matters, and advising on a range of commercial agreements with universities including collaboration agreements, and R&D agreements.
  • Advising an international non-profit organisation on their acquisition of a range of entities in the UK in the education and employability sector.
  • Advising a sports global governing body in relation to data transfer agreements across multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Advising a sports national governing body in relation to all aspects of information management and data protection, including drafting and reviewing internal client policies, privacy policies, preparing data transfer agreements and data processing arrangements, and data subject access requests. Including advise on IP ownership and licensing, and the management of personal data.
  • Advising clients in the publishing sector on the use of artificial intelligence, and copyright issues both contentious and non-contentious.
  • Seconded to Scottish Power Energy Networks, advising the Future Networks division on multiple industry and academic collaborations funded through various Ofgem funds.
