Leigh specialises in contentious construction. Her experience ranges across construction, engineering and major projects disputes, with a focus on utilities and disputes in the energy sector, both north and south of the border. Leigh is experienced in both Court of Session and Sheriff Court actions, and has extensive experience in adjudication, arbitration, expert determination and mediation.
Leigh has a unique insight into arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in Scotland, through her role as Honorary Secretary and Treasurer of the Scottish Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators is a global Institute with 14,000 members across 133 countries. The Scottish Branch is actively involved in promoting all forms of ADR in the Scottish Market, and Leigh is heavily involved in the wider ADR community, regularly arranging and presenting at seminars and conferences.
