Leigh specialises in construction and engineering disputes. Her experience ranges across construction, engineering, infrastructure and major projects disputes, with a focus on utilities and disputes in the energy sector, both north and south of the border. Leigh is experienced in the Scottish courts, and has extensive experience in adjudication, arbitration, expert determination and mediation.
Leigh has an excellent working knowledge of all the typical standard form construction contracts currently in the industry, but has a particular specialism in NEC3 and NEC4.
Leigh also has a unique insight into arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in Scotland, through her involvement with the Scottish Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators for many years.
Leigh is an accredited Construction Law specialist by the Law Society of Scotland. Leigh also won Rising Star of the Year at the Scottish Legal Awards in 2020.
