Based in Glasgow, Kirsty is a Senior Solicitor in our Restructuring and Business Advisory team. She advises businesses, lenders and insolvency practitioners on all aspects of corporate restructuring and insolvency.

This includes insolvent business sales and acquisitions, formal insolvency appointments, schemes of arrangement and restructuring plans, and advising boards of companies facing financial distress.

Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Kirsty spent two years in the restructuring team of a Big Four accountancy firm, where she working on a wide range of corporate insolvency appointments across a variety of sectors including construction, property, retail, hospitality and aviation.

Advising the lender of various Scottish real estate businesses in connection with security enforcement, and subsequently acting for the administrators of each company on all aspects of the administrations.
Advising the administrators of a Scottish manufacturing business in connection with all aspects of the administration, including the sale of the company's business and assets.
Advising English counsel on the Scottish law aspects of an English law refinancing transaction involving various real estate assets located in Scotland.
