Emma is a Senior Solicitor in the Planning and Environment group, advising clients on contentious and non-contentious planning matters.
She qualified into the planning team in 2022 after spending a year with the team as a trainee.
Emma has experience in advising on contentious and non-contentious planning and environmental issues in the housebuilding, commercial and energy sectors across Scotland.
She has advised Miller Homes on its planning appeal at Mossend and also throughout the Mossend legal challenge to the Court of Session.
Emma has also advised on the planning aspects of numerous high-value acquisition deals for various housebuilders and commercial clients.
As a result she is experienced in the negotiation and drafting of planning agreements and modifications - in particular having advised Hallam Land on is development site at Hoghill Farm and Taylor Wimpey with its development site at Brotherton Farm.
