“My role gives me a fascinating insight into businesses of all shapes and sizes – from listed energy companies to social care charities – and it is a privilege to be a trusted advisor to them on issues that are so vital to get right.”

Andrew advises clients on the full spectrum of employment law issues – from defending employer clients in employment tribunal proceedings to advising clients on the people aspects of mergers, acquisitions and restructuring exercises.

Those clients span a range of sectors including energy, manufacturing, entertainment, food and drink, transportation, healthcare and the third sector. Andrew regularly appears for clients in employment tribunal and employment appeal tribunal proceedings throughout Great Britain. He has represented clients before the Aberdeen, Bristol, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Manchester and Newcastle employment tribunals and the employment appeal tribunal in Edinburgh, successfully defending claims on behalf of clients for breach of contract, discrimination, unlawful trade union inducement, unfair dismissal, unlawful deduction from wages and whistleblowing, among many others.
