We are delighted to invite you to join us for our annual Rural Disputes Conference, which will focus on resolving disputes affecting clients living, working and operating in Scotland’s rural sector.
This year, we are taking a slightly different approach. Our fictional ShepWedd Estate has faced many challenges over the years and at this year’s Rural Disputes Conference we will round these up with the launch of our new A-Z of Rural Disputes brochure. Our rural disputes specialists will take you through an A–Z of rural disputes, exploring the wide range of contentious issues that can affect landowners, farmers, estates and rural businesses.
From access disputes and agricultural tenancies to farming partnerships, succession planning, private water supplies, occupiers’ liability and rights of responsible access, we will look at these disputes and discuss how they can be prevented, managed and resolved.
Designed specifically for surveyors, accountants, other trusted advisers to rural clients, as well as those living, working and operating in the rural sector, this practical and interactive session will help attendees:
- identify common sources of disputes in the rural sector;
- recognise early warning signs before issues escalate;
- consider the options available for resolving disputes; and
- know when specialist advice may be required.
