If you’re interested in a career in commercial law, as a lawyer or otherwise, we offer a range of opportunities that can help you.
A summer placement is a chance to work with people at the top of their profession, and get a flavour of life at a commercial law firm.
Shepherd and Wedderburn trainees benefit from a supportive and well-structured program. We offer structured traineeships in all four of our UK offices, starting in August every year.
Our firm includes many non-legal roles, from entry-level positions to directors.
Whether or not you’re a lawyer, becoming a leader in your field requires a wide range of skills: technical, practical and personal. We’ll ensure that you have all the necessary opportunities to develop them.
Our virtual work experience programme gives you an insight into the work that we do by giving you a series of tasks, created by our lawyers, as part of a scenario in which we are advising a multinational beverage company on various legal matters.
Spending a day shadowing a trainee, or attending an insight evening, are excellent ways to get an initial introduction to our firm.
