Lisa is an Associate in the contentious construction team. She has been involved in numerous high-value construction and infrastructure disputes.

She has experience of litigation in both the Court of Session and Sheriff Court, and is experienced in many forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution including adjudication, mediation and arbitration. Her clients include employers, contractors and consultants. Her construction disputes work covers many sectors including energy, transport, hospitality and leisure, education, and commercial real estate.

Lisa has also completed two secondments: one at a major utilities provider and one at a large social housing provider.

Successfully defending an employer client in ‘smash and grab’ payment adjudication.
Representing and advising a client on adjudication against an Authority in relation to a facilities management contract over schools in Northern Ireland.
Advising a client on potential payment dispute in relation to high voltage cable works at Hinkley Point C.
Advising a funder client on a multimillion-pound dispute in relation to defects with an office building, including with fire-stopping, glazing, water systems and access equipment.
Successfully enforcing an adjudication decision in the Technology and Construction Court for a client in relation to a dispute on the development of the former Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.
