She specialises in high-value investments, sales and acquisitions of office, retail and mixed-use buildings; mixed-use developments (acting for developers and landowners); and landlord- and tenant-related matters in the office, hospitality and retail sectors. Helen also acts for lenders in securing their funding of acquisitions and developments.
She acts for property investment and development companies, lenders, ultra-high net worth individuals, retailers and funds based in the UK and overseas.
- Acting on the corporate structured purchase, financing and letting of the Relay Building, in Aldgate East (a mixed-use building in London) for a price in excess of £90 million for an international consortium.
- Advising an asset manager on the acquisition and financing of five hotels nationwide for approx. £55 million.
- Advising an investor on the acquisition and financing of a nationwide portfolio of student accommodation for approx. £280 million.
- Advising an investor on the acquisition of three multi-let properties within London worth £75 million.
- Advising a financial PLC on all aspects of entering into a new lease of its head office in the City.
- Acted for an independent property lender on acquisition and development loans with loans to date totaling approx £400 million.
- Acted for an investor client on its re-financing of a portfolio of 85 nursing homes.
