Gina is a Senior Associate in the firm's Commercial Disputes and Regulation Division.

Her primary focus is on commercial and contract disputes; she provides advice to a broad spectrum of clients from large scale institutions, banks and businesses to individual clients and SMEs.

Gina advises on a wide range of issues from disputes of high value to those which are smaller in nature but which may have wider consequences to the client, or which include significant issues of reputational or business risk. Gina undertakes a varied caseload of contentious cases at both Sheriff Court and Court of Session level, which has included areas such as professional negligence and fraud; contractual disputes; procurement; property disputes and planning.

A member of our Debt Recovery Team and also our specialist Restructuring and Insolvency Team, Gina is also heavily involved in financial litigation ranging from advising on complex debt recovery to the enforcement of securities, particularly involving cross border situations. Gina assisted in the first case of its kind in Scotland where under section 426 of the Insolvency Act 1986 administrators were appointed in Scotland in respect of a Jersey registered company prior to any insolvency process in Jersey representing a double legal first in Scotland.
