George is a Partner and head of the firm's Food and Drink Group, with a client list drawn principally from the food and drink, technology and engineering sectors.

He conducts a wide range of corporate work, including strategic corporate advice, acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and group reorganisations/restructurings, for international and domestic clients.

He is also a member of the firm's Family Business and Wealth Protection Group and assists clients in addressing their longer term succession and governance issues.

George regularly advises on shareholder, director and partnership disputes and their resolution, whether by negotiation or in conjunction with his colleagues in litigation.

Clients regularly endorse his commercial, hands-on approach to their affairs. He is described in the Chambers and Partners independent legal directory as a "no-nonsense lawyer who sees all the issues and does a good job of arguing his client's case".
