Gareth is a construction and engineering specialist with substantial experience in in the energy sector, including carbon capture and storage; combined cycle gas turbines; onshore and offshore renewables; and combined heat and power.
Gareth has significant expertise in infrastructure projects, in particular renewable energy projects where he advises on offshore and onshore wind, solar PV and batteries, P2X, geothermal and tidal projects. He advises project sponsors, major contractors, procuring authorities, sub-contractors and other professionals.
Gareth is a regular speaker on renewable energy topics and a prolific author in the field of construction regulation. He co-wrote the Annotated Guide to the Construction Design and Management Regulations and is co-author of Scottish Engineering Contracts.
