Flora is a Senior Associate in our Private Wealth and Tax team.

She advises clients on succession planning matters including the preparation of wills and powers of attorney, as well as dealing with trusts (establishment, administration and winding up). Flora also provides advice to clients dealing with issues in relation to power of attorney administration and adults with incapacity.

Flora is also responsible for the administration of a wide range of executry estates, including contentious executries and judicial factories.

She also advises on the establishment and ongoing administrations of all types of charitable organisations and institutes. She is involved in complex charity re-organisations and changes of legal structure and advises on a range of charity governance and constitutional matters.

Flora is fluent in French, and has a particular interest in cross-border estates and multi-jurisdictional succession planning.

  • Dealing with administration of UK-sited executries in connection with non-domiciled estates.
  • Acting in estates with high-value corporate and business assets, and advising on succession in relation to these assets as part of the wider executry administration.
  • Advising on and dealing with the corporate re-structure and re-organisation of a long-established charity.
  • Advising a large Scottish charity in relation to multiple ongoing constitutional and regulatory issues.
