Based in Aberdeen, Fiona (also known as Buffy) is an Associate in our Rural and Estates Team.

Fiona has acted in a broad range of rural and agricultural matters for developers, lenders, owners and occupiers. This including includes the sale and purchase of farms, estates, crofts, mast sites and the complex title reviews and investigations which can arise.

Acting for agricultural clients in the sale and purchase of farms and farmland, including advising on sporting rights.
Acting for the numerous lenders in the grant of various standard securities and ranking agreements as well as assisting private individuals and landowners in securing funding and discharging securities.
Acting in a broad range of voluntary registrations for agricultural, rural, estate and residential clients.
Providing specialist advise on a broad range of rural property issues such as rights of pre-emption, burdens and servitudes, access disputes and tenancies including PRTs, SLDTs and grazing lets.
Assisting private landowners in entering into Option Agreements for solar farm developments.
