Eleanor is a Partner in private wealth and tax who is based in our Glasgow office and is Head of the Glasgow private wealth and tax team.
Eleanor is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the global professional association for practitioners who specialise in advising families on inheritance and succession planning across generations.
She is admitted in Scotland and is a Notary Public registered with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
With over 30 years’ experience, Eleanor advises individuals and families on a wide range of private client matters, including all aspects of inheritance tax and capital gains tax planning, as well as the preparation of wills and Living Wills, administration of estates, formation and administration of trusts, asset protection and adults with incapacity legislation. She specialises in complex trusts and estates and in assisting entrepreneurs and other high net worth individuals and their families with succession and tax planning. She particularly enjoys engaging with other professional advisors such as accountants and financial advisors in a collaborative way as part of the planning process to ensure the best outcome for her clients.
