David has over 25 years' experience in all aspects of commercial real estate work, including development and investment transactions and asset management across a range of sectors. He specialises in real estate finance transactions for lenders and borrowers, including high value cross-border finance loan and restructuring transactions as well as enforcement and work out situations. David is also heavily involved in advising on the real estate elements of insolvency transactions.

In May 2011, David completed a nine month full-time secondment at Lloyds Banking Group with responsibility for advising the Scottish real estate teams on various Scottish and English banking and property related legal issues.
