Colin has substantial experience in advising clients in the private and public sectors on both contentious and non-contentious planning matters. On the contentious side, he represents clients at public inquiries and hearings, and also advises in respect of court challenges to planning decisions.
Colin is a legal associate of the Royal Town Planning Institute and accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a planning specialist.
Admitted in Scotland and England and Wales.
Colin has significant expertise in relation to energy-related projects, including thermal plant, renewable energy and grid. He is also involved in other major infrastructure projects, including road schemes and major mixed use schemes.
