Aileen is a Senior Associate in our Rural Property and Business team and advises landowners, developers and lending institutions on all aspects of rural property matters, including acquisitions and sales, estate financing and renewable energy developments. 

Aileen specialises in on-shore renewable energy projects and has worked on an extensive range of developments on both the landowner and developer side and across different technology types. Aileen works closely with our Clean Energy team in order to provide specialist crofting and agricultural advice on complex projects. Aileen also has extensive experience of grid connection facilitation, compensatory planting arrangements and project sales. Aileen spent 15 months on secondment with a windfarm developer where she provided in-house legal support and gained first-hand industry experience.

Aileen also acts for estate and forest owners and has considerable experience in large-scale commercial forestry sales and purchases. She also assists private landowners with estate re-structuring and financing.
