Aileen is an associate in our rural property and renewables team. She advises on all aspects of rural property matters, including the acquisition, sale and financing of estates, farms and forests.
Aileen specialises in on-shore renewable energy projects and has worked on an extensive range of developments since joining Shepherd and Wedderburn in 2016.
This includes completing numerous main turbine site, access and cabling and compensatory planting option and lease agreements for both wind farm developers and landowners and also grid connection facilitation and project sales.
Aileen has recently been involved in battery storage and synchronous condenser projects and previously spent 15 months on secondment with a windfarm developer where she provided in-house legal support and gained first-hand experience of the issues faced by developers on a daily basis.
