Shepherd and Wedderburn supports Wheatley Foundation lifeline service

Shepherd and Wedderburn is delighted to support the Wheatley Foundation with a substantial donation to assist in the expansion of its lifeline food parcel service to those most in need during the Coronavirus lockdown.

Wheatley Foundation, a charitable trust operated by housing, care and property manager Wheatley Group, has rapidly expanded its EatWell service, which has delivered more than 13,000 food packages across the 17 Scottish local authority areas it operates in since lockdown began.

EatWell is run by Wheatley Group staff and operates seven days a week from hubs in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dumfries.

Andy Hall, Shepherd and Wedderburn’s client relationship partner for Wheatley Group, said: “We are proud to support the Wheatley Foundation to rapidly expand its EatWell food parcel service, delivering essential grocery items across its estate to the elderly and most in need during lockdown.

“The value of community has shone through in this crisis, and we are delighted to assist the Wheatley Foundation in supporting communities across Scotland in these difficult times.”
