Shepherd and Wedderburn leads discussion on charity governance

Leading UK law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn will be represented by two of its charity law specialists at the ACOSVO Trustees' Week Conference, which takes place on Monday, 2 November.

Chris McGill, Partner in the firm’s Private Client practice and David Dunsire, a consultant in the Shepherd and Wedderburn Corporate team, both specialising in charities work, will lead a discussion on ‘Charity Governance: Developing and Harnessing an Effective Board’.

In the run up to the event, Shepherd and Wedderburn’s charity law specialists are also scheduled to lead a discussion on creative leadership and innovation at the 2015 ACOSVO Annual Conference. That event takes place in Glasgow on Thursday 29 November, opening with an official dinner sponsored by the firm.

Chris McGill commented: “The ACOSVO events are unique opportunities to connect with third sector leaders and to share and exchange new ideas on a variety of topics affecting third sector leadership today. The Shepherd and Wedderburn team are looking forward to being part of this year’s conferences.”
