Tim is a Senior Associate in the Banking and Finance team. He has a wide range of experience acting on project finance transactions (both clean energy and large-scale infrastructure).
This includes advising funders and developers on a range of onshore and offshore wind projects and acting on a range of infrastructure projects in both Scotland and England. Tim also has experience acting for commercial and investment banks, as well as corporate borrowers and developers, and previously completed a six-month secondment at a UK commercial bank.
- Advising BayWa r.e. UK in the £40 million project financing with National Westminster Bank plc for the Broken Cross Wind Farm.
- Acting for Moray East Offshore Windfarm (East) Limited in connection with LIBOR transition of the project financing of the Moray East windfarm.
- Acting for a European renewable energy developer in relation to its corporate group reorganisation and the approx €1 billion refinancing of its global portfolio of onshore renewable assets.
- Acting for the lenders in connection with the project financing of a large-scale battery storage project in Scotland.
- Advising Atrato Onsite Energy on the Scottish aspects of a £250 million asset backed security financing.
- Advising Assured Guaranty on the landmark £1.5 billion sale and leaseback of Glasgow City Council assets, including City Chambers and Kelvingrove Art Gallery.
- Assisting Lone Star, a global investment firm, in the financing of the acquisition of Union Square Developments Limited, the owner of Union Square Shopping Centre in Aberdeen, for £111 million.
- Acting for a lender in connection with a development financing of a student accommodation development in Edinburgh.
