Lauren’s specialist expertise is in property investment acquisitions and sales, including complex sale and lease-back arrangements. She manages large property portfolios for various investment clients, and has a wealth of experience in landlord and tenant work.
She also has experience of delivering development projects. Lauren works closely with our banking and finance team in relation to real estate finance transactions. She is lead client partner for a number of our key investment and lender clients.

- Acting for OLIM Property Limited, a property investment manager of UK commercial property portfolios with individual discretionary mandates for pension funds, investment trusts and Oxford colleges, on all property aspects including acquisition, disposal and sale and lease-back arrangements as well as day-to-day asset management of the portfolios.
- Acting for a property investment, development and asset management company, acquisition of a portfolio of 12 industrial, three retail and three office assets. Involving active asset management, including substantial lease regears, and subsequent sale of the portfolio on an asset-by-asset basis; and. refinance of the portfolio with a high street lender.
- Acting for a property investment, development and asset management company, advising on the purchase and financing of a portfolio comprising 16 properties.
- Acting for a joint venture in connection with the purchase of a number of industrial estates.
- Acting for a German bank in relation to the sale of its UK headquarters for redevelopment and on the subsequent grant of the lease of their new UK headquarters at London Wall.
- Acting on the corporate acquisition of a Guildford office block for Realis, being the first investment for Investec’s equities investment team and a subsequent purchase for Realis of an office block in Brighton.
- Acting for Investec Bank plc on real estate finance transactions for over 15 years, including: funding the acquisition by Galliard of various office blocks for conversion into residential schemes; refinancing 1000 Aztec West, Bristol, a newly developed office scheme; and funding the acquisition of three sites in Leicester, Hackney and Sheffield to be developed into high end student accommodation.
- Acting for Puma Property Finance on financing with the Victory Group for the development of a zero-carbon office building with retail space at 105 Jermyn Street, London.
- Acting for Puma Property Finance on financing with Kier Group for the development of an industrial warehouse unit in Milton Keynes.
- Acting for ASK Partners and Oaknorth Bank plc on a number of transactions including: refinancing of The Island Business District, Nottingham; funding the acquisitions of 150 Minories, London, Chiswick Tower, London and the Treaty Shopping Centre, Hounslow; and funding the acquisition of 100-136 Cavell Street, Whitechapel, London to be developed for life sciences use.
