Jacqueline is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Private Wealth and Tax Team, based in Glasgow.
She provides advice and assistance to clients in relation to a wide range of personal legal matters, including the preparation of wills, lifetime tax-planning, the setting up and administration of trusts, administration of estates, and adults with incapacity matters including powers of attorney. She also has an interest in charity law.
Jacqueline is a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. She is also a Notary Public.
- Advising clients in relation to succession-planning, including preparation of wills, powers of attorney and advance directives.
- Providing advice in relation to Inheritance Tax-planning, legal rights planning, the protection of vulnerable beneficiaries, and general asset protection.
- Acting in a wide range of complex executry matters, including advising executors on their legal duties and obligations, preparation of relevant Inheritance Tax reporting and dealing with complex family dynamics.
- Creation and administration of lifetime Trusts, to include Inheritance Tax reporting and advising on ongoing compliance requirements.
- Creation of charities, from advice regarding structure to registration with OSCR.
- Administration of charitable Trusts, to include dealing with ongoing compliance and OSCR reporting.
