Jacqueline is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Private Wealth and Tax Team, based in Glasgow.

She provides advice and assistance to clients in relation to a wide range of personal legal matters, including the preparation of wills, lifetime tax planning, the setting up and administration of trusts, administration of estates, and adults with incapacity matters including powers of attorney. She also has an interest in charity law. 

Jacqueline is a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

  • Advising clients in relation to succession-planning, including preparation of wills, powers of attorney and advance directives.
  • Providing advice in relation to Inheritance Tax-planning, legal rights planning, the protection of vulnerable beneficiaries, and general asset protection.
  • Acting in a wide range of complex executry matters, including advising executors on their legal duties and obligations, preparation of relevant Inheritance Tax reporting and dealing with complex family dynamics.
  • Creation and administration of lifetime Trusts, to include Inheritance Tax reporting and advising on ongoing compliance requirements.
  • Creation of charities, from advice regarding structure to registration with OSCR.
  • Administration of charitable Trusts, to include dealing with ongoing compliance and OSCR reporting.
