Colin is a solicitor in the Infrastructure team and has assisted with a number of construction and procurement matters for local authorities, public bodies and private sector organisations.
His experience includes researching on aspects of procurement including the Teckal exemption/vertical co-operation, whether a body would be caught by Procurement Regulations, modifications of contracts and the use of emergency procurement procedures.
Colin also has experience working with NEC, JCT and SBCC construction contracts and has assisted with the preparation of bespoke contracts for the solar and offshore wind industries.
Additionally, Colin provides regular procurement updates to the Shepherd and Wedderburn team and assists with providing training to trainee solicitors within the firm on procurement.
