Work shadowing - one day, unpaid: 2nd year law students
Students can apply to spend a day in one of our offices work shadowing a trainee solicitor or solicitor to get an insight into the legal profession from the point of view of a large commercial firm.
This is an ideal opportunity to see how the firm works and the type of work that a Shepherd and Wedderburn trainee gets involved with. Once you have completed your work shadowing day, we hope that you will decide to apply for our summer internship or traineeship.
When to apply
Work shadowing days will take place between January - May 2022. Depending on the government restrictions in relations to social distancing, this may be delivered virtually. If you would like to apply please email your CV and covering letter to email@example.com. Please note spaces are limited so will be given on a first come first served basis.
Applications for a Work Shadow Day close at noon on 31st December 2021.
Our Insight Evenings are open to all 1st year, 2nd year and 1st year accelerated law students and will offer you an insight into our practice groups, the work we do and the opportunities we offer to students during their time at university.
This is a great opportunity to network with current Trainees and Solicitor’s to find out about their experience working at Shepherd and Wedderburn. You will also have the opportunity to meet our Graduate Team to find out more about our recruitment processes including helpful application hits and tips.
We are hopeful we will be able to run our 2022 Insight Evenings in the office in the first half of 2022. If this is not possible, we will be running virtual alternatives.
