This webinar, ‘Contracting for Certainty’, considers the advantages of taking time to get a construction contract right and signed at the outset.
It explores the recent Court of Appeal case of North Midland Building Ltd v Cyden Homes Ltd, in which the court held that an express contractual term took priority over a common law principle known as the prevention principle, and the recent Supreme Court case of Rock Advertising Limited v MWB Business Exchange Centres Limited, which concerned the status of contractual “no oral variation clauses”.
