Outside of London and the big 6 cities a lack of high quality, sustainable office space is holding back economic growth. A new ‘city office portfolio’ approach can help regional towns and cities develop fit for place solutions – building local capacity that is both sustainable and conducive to a growing economy. This workshop will bring together the British Council for Offices with regional local authorities and office specialists to explore how this approach can drive sustainable economic growth and job creation across the UK.

George McKinlay - Partner

George acts in a number of areas in real estate, including development, property investment, leasing, ports and infrastructure.

He works with a wide range of clients and has been involved in a number of large and high-profile private and public sector projects.

Ports are critical economic infrastructure yet often overlooked in property-led investment conversations.

Are UK ports structurally disadvantaged in competing with major European and global hubs – or is the issue one of capital deployment, governance and regulatory agility?

Open to port authorities, logistics investors, infrastructure funds, freight operators, and public sector leaders.
