Working with Petra Grunenberg, she advises on a broad range of rural matters, including the acquisition and disposal of farms, forests, and other rural properties; servitudes; agricultural tenancies; security and finance work; voluntary registrations; title review and investigations. 

Having completed her degree in Scots Law and English Law and Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Aberdeen, Tanya commenced her traineeship in 2023 and was admitted as a Solicitor in Scotland in 2025. She completed her traineeship with seats in Agriculture, Commercial Property, Corporate Law and Employment Law, gaining a well-rounded legal foundation that enables her to approach rural work with a wider commercial and personal perspective.
