Shepherd and Wedderburn announces its speaker line-up for All-Energy 2017

Headline sponsor of the UK’s largest renewable energy conference and exhibition, Shepherd and Wedderburn, has announced its speaker line-up for this year’s event, which takes place at Glasgow’s Scottish Event Campus on 10 and 11 May.

Specialists from the law firm’s 90 strong energy and natural resources group will be presenting at the two-day event.  On day one at 11am, Clare Foster, Head of Clean Energy at Shepherd and Wedderburn, will be speaking at the first of the Sustainable cities sessions —an interactive session styled on the format of the BBC programme, Question Time.  Patricia Hawthorn will chair and provide the opening address for the Offshore Wind session on the same day, also at 11am.

On day two at 1pm, John Grady will provide the low-down on the latest legal developments in converting energy from waste water, when he presents: Waste water and energy in the UK – the next big bang? Later that afternoon, at 3.30pm, Liz McRobb, well known for her work in the utilities sector, will speak on Aviation mitigation – the ‘airscape’ in a post RO world.

Speaking about the conference, Clare Foster stated: "All-Energy is a superb event, one that we have sponsored for many years. It offers a great opportunity to connect with other professionals in the industry and for delegates to learn about emerging technologies and new ways of working. Our speakers, along with other members of our team, look forward to exchanging ideas with some of the 7,000 renewable energy developers and supply chain partners that are expected to attend from over 45 countries.”

Venue: Glasgow’s Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre on 10-11 May 2017.
