Shepherd and Wedderburn appointed to multi-million pound legal framework

Shepherd and Wedderburn is pleased to announce it has been appointed by the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) to a multi-million pound legal framework available to the wider public sector, including devolved administrations.

The firm has been appointed to full service Lot 2b, which is available to deliver a suite of legal services across 17 mandatory and 18 optional specialisms to public sector organisations throughout Scotland.

CCS, the UK Government body responsible for procuring commercial services centrally to deliver cost savings, has stated the intention of the Scotland-specific lot 2b panel is to provide a broad scope of services, providing customers with a route to market that is compliant with EU regulations and delivers value for money.

The framework is now live, and ends 30 September 2021.

Neil Maclean, head of Shepherd and Wedderburn’s Public Sector Group, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed to this panel, which provides a strong platform for delivery of services to the public sector across Scotland, and further demonstrates the strength of Shepherd and Wedderburn’s Government and Public Sector practice.”
