Shepherd and Wedderburn to join property industry’s most influential figures at awards ceremony

Leading UK law firm, Shepherd and Wedderburn is once again supporting Property Week’s Property Awards – awards which seek to honour the outstanding contributions and performance of individuals and companies from within the property sector.

The sell-out award ceremony, now in its 21st year, takes place on 19 April at London’s Grosvenor House, where 1,200 property professionals and their guests are expected to congregate. Over 100 shortlisted companies and individuals have set their sights on picking up one of the 19 awards to be announced on the night.

Shepherd and Wedderburn is sponsor of the Placemaking award, which recognises commercial or mixed use developments that have regenerated  or physically improved the built environment on and around a particular site, disused building or location.  Shortlisted companies for this award include: BTP Architects; Urban Splash; Grosvenor Britain & Ireland; The Collective; Crest Nicholson Regeneration; U+I and Holder Mathias Architects.

Property Partner at the firm, Sally Morris-Smith said:

“These awards are a highlight in the real estate industry’s calendar. There are many worthy contenders, all of whom have come under the scrutiny of the 80-strong expert judging panel. It is difficult to predict who will be successful, but I wish them all the best of luck and look forward to what will be a great evening.”
