Property Awards 2016 winners

On Tuesday over 1200 movers and shakers in the UK property industry gathered at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel to celebrate excellence across the industry at Property Week’s Property Awards 2016.

This year, Shepherd and Wedderburn sponsored the Placemaking Award, which seeks to recognise commercial or mixed use developments that have regenerated or physically improved the built environment on and around a particular site, disused building or location.

Sally Morris-Smith, partner in the firm’s top ranked Real Estate and Infrastructure team, was on hand to congratulate the winners, Crest Nicholson.

Selected by an 80-strong judging panel, Crest Nicholson received the award in recognition of their Park Central regeneration project, a 61-acre residential-led mixed use scheme, which transformed Birmingham’s former Lee Bank area into a desirable place for city centre living.

More information regarding the awards can be found on the Property Week website.
