Industry leaders and property professionals head for Edinburgh

Industry leaders and property professionals from across Scotland will gather in Edinburgh next week for Property 2015.

The challenges for the property sector continue to increase for both the public and private sector. New development and regeneration of the existing built environment is vital to economic growth. The conditions necessary to attract investment are not easily nor quickly achieved. Central to which a strong, stable tax environment and integrated planning and infrastructure systems. The property industry has a vital role to play in driving change and influencing policy to create an investable and sustainable environment necessary to realise the opportunity for Scotland to deliver for future generations.

Delegates from across the industry will share views and hear from experts as they explore topics including: driving urban regeneration; facilitating change; and why adaptability of buildings should be front of mind at the planning and design stages in order to future proof our built environment against the shockwaves of time, technology and change of use and the conditions essential attract investment.

Hosted by law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn, the event, now in its 16th year, has the support of organisations such as the Scottish Property Federation, the Urban Land Institute and sponsors: AMA Homes; Click-let; JCRA Laxfield; and Invest in Fife.
