Richard is a Partner in our property and infrastructure team, specialising in the development, sale and acquisition, and funding of energy projects.
Richard is dual qualified and has acted on a range of energy transactions in Scotland and England & Wales.
He has advised on the development of windfarms (both onshore and offshore), solar projects, hydro projects, battery storage, gas peaking sites, energy from waste projects, large scale biomass, district heating schemes, electrical vehicle infrastructure, private wire/corporate PPA projects and grid infrastructure.
Richard advises on all aspects of energy projects, often following projects through to project finance, and on the sale and acquisition of individual projects or portfolios of projects.
In addition, Richard carries out general commercial property work, with a particular focus on development work, property finance and corporate real estate, also assisting the team with leisure-based leasing work.
