Sarah advises across all areas of employment law and HR issues, including in respect of disciplinary and grievance issues, unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, redundancy exercises and discrimination. She works closely with corporate colleagues to advise clients on all aspects of TUPE, including indemnity protections, consultation requirements and harmonisation exercises.

Sarah also has experience in advising clients on contentious situations and has been involved in defending several tribunal claims. She regularly deals with ad hoc queries from our clients' HR departments and in-house legal team,s and provides pragmatic, solutions-focused advice. Sarah has designed and delivered a number of client training sessions, including on gender pay gap reporting, discrimination, and disciplinary/grievance procedures.
With in-house secondment experience to an asset management firm, assisting it with implementing new requirements under GDPR and the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMRC), Sarah has specialist knowledge of these regimes, especially focusing on the people consequences.
