Ryan McCuaig is a solicitor in our construction, engineering and infrastructure disputes team, based between our Edinburgh and Glasgow offices. He acts for employers and contractors who are involved in court actions, arbitrations, adjudications and mediations, both north and south of the border, alongside providing pre-action advice.
Prior to joining the firm, Ryan trained at a large Scottish commercial firm where he gained significant experience representing clients in courts across Scotland. He graduated from the University of Strathclyde with first class honours in Scots Law in 2018 and from the University of Glasgow with a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice (with Merit) in 2019, for which he was awarded a post graduate talent scholarship.
Ryan chairs the Board of a major Scottish charity and is also a trustee of LawCare, a charity which provides mental health support to legal professionals. He is a passionate advocate for social mobility in the legal profession and was featured in the Law Society of Scotland’s “One Profession, Many Journeys” campaign.
