Carolyn qualified in Scots law, working primarily in private practice in Edinburgh and London. She practised Real Estate law, becoming a partner and then setting up a business law firm in Scotland in 2003.
Carolyn is now based in Singapore, working with our clients across South East Asia delivering legal support on regulation, markets and competition.
Carolyn lectures on corporate governance in Asia, the UK and the Middle East. She is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors’ Professional Development Committee and sits on the YMCA Education Committee in Singapore. She obtained the FT Non-executive Director Diploma in 2013.
She was also involved in setting up the Scottish Business Association of Singapore in 2009/2010, acting as a bridge between Scotland and South East Asia.
In 2018 she got her Chartered Secretary’s qualification from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
Carolyn obtained her English law qualification in 2012.
