UK law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn launches airport advertising campaign

This month Scotland headquartered UK law firm, Shepherd and Wedderburn has made its first foray into the world of large format airport advertising.  The campaign: Shepherd and WedderburnThe #1 destination for legal services was devised and produced by the firm’s own in-house creative team and facilitated by outdoor promotions company, JC Decaux.  It comprises both print and digital advertising across Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen airports.

Speaking about the decision to advertise at the main Scottish airports, Sarah McLean, Business Development Director at Shepherd and Wedderburn said:

“The Scottish airports are an important hub for the firm, making it possible for us to conduct business wherever our clients are, be it in the UK or overseas. In the last year, Edinburgh and Glasgow airports experienced record-breaking passenger numbers realising significant growth on both domestic and international routes.  With combined passenger numbers exceeding 17 million a year, of which more than a third are business travellers, the airports are a business gateway and offer us an excellent opportunity to promote our legal services to that audience.”

The campaign comes hot on the heels of another major marketing and community engagement initiative, the firm’s sponsorship of the acclaimed Sherlock exhibition at the Museum of London, where, over a ten-month period, the firm enjoyed prominent national and London-based branding exposure as a result of the Museum’s promotion of the exhibition, which included advertising in London Underground stations, large format outdoor advertising as well as press coverage.
