Shepherd and Wedderburn to join Scotland’s technology leaders at digital awards

On Wednesday 20th April, companies at the cutting edge of Scotland’s flourishing tech sector and their guests will gather at Glasgow’s Old Fruitmarket to celebrate and reward innovation and excellence. The occasion – the Digital Technology Awards 2016, a prestigious competition, now in its sixth year, and organised by ScotlandIS, the trade body for Scotland’s digital industries.

Stephen Trombala, corporate partner at Shepherd and Wedderburn will be in attendance to present the prize of CEO of the Year, a new award being sponsored by the law firm. He said: “At Shepherd and Wedderburn we have been privileged to work with many past winners of these awards including DeltaDNA, FanDuel, iomart and Nucleus; businesses which have created new and transformed existing markets throughout the world.

“The fact that we are seeing so many companies achieving commercial success, tells me that the Awards will be hotly contested and I am very much looking forward to celebrating the achievements of each of the finalists on the night.”

International Technology StarBest Investment Deal of the Year; and Emerging Digital Technology Business of the Year also feature among the fifteen award categories.
