Shepherd and Wedderburn contributes to international arbitration guide

Members of leading UK law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn’s International Dispute Resolution team have contributed to the 2016 edition of Getting the Deal Through: Arbitration, a guide to arbitration laws and institutions worldwide.

Written by expert lawyers and law firms in each major jurisdiction, the publication gives a comprehensive overview of the arbitration process, from drafting of contractual clauses to the enforcement of awards in local courts. Arbitration provides answers to fundamental questions on laws and institutions, arbitration agreements, constitution of arbitral tribunals, arbitral proceedings, interim measures and awards.

Internationally acclaimed arbitration lawyers, Claire Stockford and Jane Wessel, both partners at Shepherd and Wedderburn, together with solicitor Tom Stables, wrote the chapter on the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the leading English institution that deals with international arbitration cases.

With in-depth knowledge and extensive experience of international commercial arbitration, Jane and Claire, together with Tom, are ideally placed to answer questions on the structure and procedures of the LCIA.
