2016 will be the year of the Red Fire Monkey.  People born in the year of the Red Fire Monkey are charaterised as being quick witted, innovative and mischievous.  For Procurement professionals, 2016 is set to be known as the year of procurement reform for those working or doing business in Scotland.  We might all need to be a little like the Chinese Red Monkey to manage the changes that will soon be upon us.

To help you get to grips with the changes, our speakers will look at recent procurement law reforms as well as providing a round-up of recent procurement and construction case law developments.

And, with the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 only coming into force in April, the seminars will prove timely for those beginning to look at updating internal policies, revising standing orders or preparing their first Procurement Strategy.

Audience:

The seminar will be particularly relevant to procurement and construction professionals in both the private and public sectors including:

  • Contracts and commercial managers
  • Project managers and consultants
  • In-house lawyers
  • Client representatives
  • Clients
Speakers:

The seminar will be presented by senior members of Shepherd and Wedderburn's market leading construction and infrastructure team.  The full programme will be confirmed to registered delegates prior to the seminar.
