In consideration of the increasing prevalence of e-disclosure as a tool for fulfilling compliance, regulatory and litigation obligations and the exponential increase of electronically stored information in our possession, having an understanding of e-disclosure has never been more important. In this series we will be looking at e-disclosure as both a proactive and reactive tool in today's legal and regulatory landscape.
This first webinar will focus on the proactive element of e-disclosure, examining how it can assist organisations in meeting their compliance obligations, and how they can proactively seek out potential internal breaches of these obligations.
This webinar will be relevant to companies and individuals from all fields, in particular those working in sectors prone to litigation and regulation, including:
- Contracts and commercial managers;
- Project managers and consultants;
- In-house lawyers; and
- Those tasked with managing data
The webinar will be presented by Matt Phillip, a litigator qualified in England and Wales as well as Scotland who specialises in IP issues and has vast experience of disclosure obligations and how best to manage them. Matt has been involved in ground-breaking cases both north and south of the border involving the use of e-discovery.
He will be joined by Nicola Perry who has extensive experience of applying e-disclosure in a wide variety of contexts and having received specialist training on e-discovery, is considered one of Shepherd and Wedderburn's top users of e-disclosure technology.
