A recovery is well under way in the construction sector and significant investment in public asset replacement and renewal is in progress or planned in the UK.

Now is therefore a good time to hear from the Scottish Futures Trust regarding their pipe-line of projects and planned initiatives over the next twelve months, and to consider the current and separate plans for reforming public-led procurement in Scotland, the UK and the EU.

These breakfast seminars will look at:

  • The current levels of activity and trends in the UK construction sector
  • Current public-led procurement reform plans within Scotland, the UK and the EU
  • The Scottish Futures Trust: current and future initiatives and activities
Audience:

The audience will have the opportunity to put questions to our speaker from the Scottish Future Trust.  Should you wish to put any questions to our speakers in advance of the seminar, please use the free text box on the registration page.  Confidentiality will be maintained for any questions submitted in advance.

Speakers:

The seminar will be chaired by Iain Drummond, a partner and solicitor advocate, and fellow senior members of our Construction and Special Projects team with extensive experience of public sector procurement projects.

We are delighted that Barry White, Chief Executive at Scottish Futures Trust is able to join us.
