The Green Deal/ECO is the Government flagship initiative created to encourage property owners/occupiers to improve the energy efficiency of their properties. Such improvements are achieved by installing a range of green measures, with the costs being funded by ECO subsidy and repayment through energy bills over an extended period of time. However, the success of the initiative will be influenced by a range of factors.
