The Bribery Act 2010, the world-wide gold standard for anti-bribery measures, came into force on the 1 July 2011. This talk will evaluate one year on the impact of the Act on corporates in the UK energy sector, with particular emphasis on the importance of risk assessments, and ensuring internal anti-corruption measures are adequate.  We will also provide an update on the approach prosecutors are taking and how the Act is likely to be enforced.
