The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has published a consultation paper on its guidance to the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) Remuneration Code.  The consultation is open until 6 November 2013. It is expected that the final guidance, subject to respondents’ comments, will be published in early 2014 at the latest.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has published a consultation paper on its guidance to the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) Remuneration Code.  The consultation is open until 6 November 2013. It is expected that the final guidance, subject to respondents’ comments, will be published in early 2014 at the latest.

The FCA have also published a new webpage setting out frequently asked questions (FAQs) on passporting arrangements under the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive. The FAQs are designed to help firms and their advisers with the passporting process and cover: (i) identification of the competent authority; (ii) authorisation as a manager of an AIF; and (iii) continuation of use of UCITS passports in relation to UCITS business.
